Allan Godfrey - Managing Director
I have worked in the textile industry for more than 40 years.
I started my career on the knitting floor at Pringle of Scotland and worked through various technical, production and senior management roles, culminating as Head of Product Development at Pringle of Scotland.
In 2020, I decided the time was right for a new challenge and Teviot Knitwear was born. Our vision was to offer a flexible artisan manufacturing facility which produces top quality Scottish knitwear and accessories, combining low minimums with fast and reliable delivery.
Five years on, Teviot Knitwear has successfully achieved this with exciting wholesale partnerships with some of the leading luxury knitwear distributors in the country. We are thrilled with how the business has developed and grown and how well the quality of our garments have been received by our loyal industry partners.
We look forward to the next exciting chapter for Teviot Knitwear, where we have launched our own exclusive retail range.

I have worked in the knitwear industry almost 40 years. I am highly experienced in all aspects of manufacturing, with a particular expertise in knitting, and am specialist in the craft of Hand Intarsia.
At Teviot Knitwear, it is my role to lead the team in pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Realising the most complex designs at commercial price points and world-class quality.
Whether you are a wholesaler, retailer or private customer, it is my job to ensure that every item is crafted to perfection, using only natural fibres and traditional techniques.
As a small artisan manufacturer, we have the ability and flexibility to push the boundaries, and we do.
